Janus Charity Challenge

Athletes and Janus raise more than $150,000 at Ironman Utah

   PROVO, Utah-Ironman Utah athletes have something to be very proud of.  At this first year race, the 15 athletes who participated in the Janus Charity Challenge raised $157,176.66!   The proceeds will benefit thousands of people who are facing their own personal and often devastating challenges.

1st place individual:  Craig Van Ness raised $57,098 for Habitat for Humanity of Kent County
   Craig's beneficiary will receive an additional $10,000 from Janus, and Craig will have the opportunity to race in the Ironman North America race of his choice over the next 12 months.

2nd place individual:  Pam Schukies, raised $48,041.05 for the Katie Kennedy Foundation
The Katie Kennedy Foundation will receive an additional $5,000.

3rd place individual:  Will Abrams, raised $11,626 for God's Love We Deliver
On behalf of Will, Janus will make an additional contribution of $3,000 to his beneficiary.

   The efforts of the following athletes resulted in a donation of $750.00 being made to each of their charities;
